Job Overview:
Administers qualitative diagnostic, habilitative, and rehabilitative services related to communication/hearing disorders for inpatients and outpatients of all ages
Qualifications:
Required:
- New Jersey state licensure in audiology required
- Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association required
Preferred:
- Experience with vestibular testing and/or cochlear implant assessment/mapping/activation strongly preferred
Scheduling Requirements:
- Full Time Day Shift
Essential Functions:
- Administers qualitative diagnostic, habilitative, and rehabilitative services related to communication/hearing disorders for inpatients and outpatients of all ages
- Provides counseling to patients and/or their families with regard to the diagnostic findings, the therapeutic program or further referral
- Assists in updating diagnostic and/or therapeutic materials and supplies
- Attends in-service/lectures on subjects related to hearing and communication
