What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier/Cafe Aide position at RWJBarnabas Health?
Job Overview:
This position is responsible for assisting customers with preparing their food,
When working on the register, all money must be properly counted and match sales summary,
Employees will be trained in all areas of the cafeteria and will be assigned those positions at completion of training,
Qualifications:
Preferred:
Previous food service experience
Scheduling Requirements:
Shift working, Full-Time 6:00am - 2:30pm each day
Rotating Weekends/holidays
Essential Functions:
Loading, transporting of the food trucks, washing of dishes, removal of garbage and trash, and overall sanitation of the department,
Soaks, washes, rinses, sanitizes, and stores all pots, pans, and utensils used in food preparation for service,
Removes all garbage from the department as needed and instructed by supervisor and places clean liners in garbage cans,
Cleans and sanitize cans as needed
