What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier/Cafe Aide position at RWJBarnabas Health?
Job Summary:
Responsible for accepting cash for products sold; maintains the cafeteria and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition;
Greets all customers verbally, communication, cooperation and assistance given in a clear and courteous manner to co-workers, hospital staff and visitors at all times,
Required:
Prior food preparation and serving experience
Must have excellent customer service
Preferred:
Prior cashier experience preferred
Previous experience with food handling in a healthcare or restaurant setting,
Scheduling Requirements:
Full-Time
8:30 am - 5:00pm, 11 am - 8:30 pm
Works every other weekend - 10:30 am - 7:00 pm
Holiday rotation required
