Job Overview:
Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ is looking for a qualified EEG Tech to add to their dynamic team!
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School diploma.
- Completion of an accredite/formal EEG program
- Neuroanatomy course a plus.
- AHA, BLS Certification required.
- Certified/registered or certified/registered eligible.
- One to three years previous experience in hospital related environment required.
Scheduling Requirements:
- Full-Time Days
- 36 hours
Essential Functions:
- Performs routine, sleep, portable, death determination, neonatal EEG recordings and video-eeg/long term epilepsy monitoring, as assigned. Patient population includes neonates to geriatrics.
- Responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc.
