LPN-Emergency Department Part Time Evening

Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated LPN for a Part Time position in our ED at Community Medical Center.

Community Medical Center, is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Opened in 1961, CMC has evolved into the state s newest teaching hospital with four residency programs and Ocean County s largest and most active health care facility caring for over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients and 73,700 emergency department patients each year.

Qualifications:

Required:

• LPN School of Nursing certificate
• NJ LPN License
• BLS required (American Heart Association)

Preferred:

• Current ED or Acute Care experience

Scheduling Requirements:

• Part Time Evening Shift

Essential Functions:

• The LPN is an intricate part of the ED Team working under the direct supervision of an RN &/or MD assisting in caring for patients in the ED & Triage.
• An Emergency Department LPN is a healthcare professional who provides direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting, under the supervision of a registered nurse, by performing tasks like administering medications, monitoring vital signs, assisting with procedures and communicating patient status changes to the healthcare team, all while focusing on stabilizing patients in urgent or critical situations,
