Job Overview:
Perform a variety of mammography procedures and exams that require independent judgment, technical skill and knowledge of the process of diagnosis of breast disease.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Graduate of Accredited School of Allied Health Program of Radiography
- Certifications and Licenses Required:
- Current NJ license to practice
- ARRT Registration,
- Mammography Certification,
- RTRM-Maintain CME credits
Essential Functions:
- Performs mammography procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision in accordance to policies and procedures,
- Must provide patient services using digital mammography and Bone Station equipment,
- The technologist must be competent in patient satisfaction as well as technical skill,
- Exercises professional judgment in performance and patient care,
- Correctly utilizes the Radiology Information System to facilitate patient functions,
- Practices radiation protection safely routinely,
