Qualifications:
Required:
HS diploma or GED
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
- Basic knowledge of anatomy and muscle movement terminology
Certifications and Licenses Required:
- BLS Certification from AHA
Scheduling Requirements:
- Day Shift
- Per Diem Schedule (Opportunities for picking up extra hours as available at any RWJ Somerset Sports Physical Therapy clinic locations -Flemington, Bridgewater, Princeton, Hillsborough)
Essential Functions:
- General housekeeping and infection prevention
- Maintaining treatment area and setting up equipment
- Retrieving equipment such as hot packs, cold packs, electrical equipment
- Assist in clerical needs of department such as answering phones and taking messages
- Assisting physical therapists with patient care such as assisting with patient transfers onto and off of treatment tables and equipment
