Job Summary
Ensuring the delivery of safe and quality patient care. Perform, adapt and safely demonstrate procedures required by patients according to policies and procedures. Administers medications accurately and safely. Documents according to policies and procedures perform, demonstrate and document technical skills specific to the nursing unit.
Position Summary
- Utilizes the nursing process to effectively assess the needs of patients.
- Identifies a plan of care; implements & evaluates the care given.
- Provides direct & indirect care to patients & leads team toward goal achievement.
- Coordinates & directs care given by other team members.
- Addresses systems issues to facilitate the provision of quality efficient care.
- Delegates appropriately to other team members.
- Excellent communication skills, leadership ability, time management & problem-solving skills required
Qualifications
- Current New Jersey RN license
- Critical care or telemetry experience
- ASN required, BSN preferred. If candidate does not possess BSN, must agree to obtain BSN within 5 years of start date
- BLS, ACLS certified through American Heart Association
Scheduling Requirements
- Day Shift 40 hours per week
