Job Overview:
Responsible for scheduling patient s physician appointments and diagnostic testing. Collection of payments when due. Works closely with physician s secretary and nurse to ensure appropriate scheduling of patients. Must be able to multitask phones calls, scheduling, and interacting with patient s. Customer service skills a must.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bilingual Spanish
- Multiple telephone line experience and good telephone etiquette
- Ability to communicate with patients, staff, and community members, both in person and on the telephone
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
Scheduling requirements:
- Shift- 7:00am- 3:00pm
- Monday-Friday
- Full Time
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for scheduling patient's physician appointments and diagnostic testing
- Triages telephone calls from patients that are truly of an emergency nature
- Responsible for collection of payments from patients when due
- Works closely with physician's secretary and nurse to ensure appropriate scheduling of patients
- Able to multitask (phone calls, scheduling, interacting with patients and family members)
- Presents self in a professional manner and utilizes superior customer service skills
