Job Overview:
Trinitas Regional Medical Center ER is a state-of-the-art facility that recently underwent an $18.7 million renovation that nearly doubled the number of treatment beds from 27 to 45. Care is now delivered in highly personalized areas that address the needs of families, seniors and behavioral patients. Also included in the project are a 128-slice CT scanner and an onsite ultrasound suite that speeds up the delivery of care and provides a more detailed diagnosis. Unlike many hospitals, Trinitas Regional Medical Center is a full-service institution. As such, we are fully-equipped and staffed to provide a complete range of services to those in need of general care, as well as specialized services, such as pediatric or obstetric care. Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- BLS through the American Heart Association is required
Scheduling Requirements:
- Night Shift
- Full-Time, 40 hour work week
Essential Functions:
The Transport Aide will support the unit by responding to call lights, will transport patients, and will assist with making beds and stretchers to be utilized for patient care. Transporters are expected to maintain therapeutic communication with patients, including supervision of patient interaction with family members. The Transport Aide will provide room turnover and supportive intervention as needed to support patient care.
