Launched in 2018, CAMP operates retail locations in Atlanta, Illinois, California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, Texas and Virginia and serves families everywhere via its digital platforms.
What is the Role?
CAMP is seeking charismatic Costume Characters for a large-scale, family-friendly immersive Bluey x CAMP collaboration in Galleria Mall in Houston, Texas. This role will be engaging with kids and families in a high-energy, heavily themed environment. The role will require extensive knowledge of the Bluey brand (with training provided), and to incorporate that knowledge into the daily interactions while on set.
Pay :
133 / day- Rehearsals
22 / hour – Performance
Hours / Availability : The schedule will range from 12- 40 hrs per week, for 6 months with the possibility of extension.
Role Requirements :
Must be between 5 ft and 5’4”
This is full body costume like a mascot with head fully covered
Must wear size XS / S bodysuit underneath the costume
The role will not require speaking
Other details :
Never speak in costume, but communicate with the public through body language and gestures
Must never stand still and keep up the animation at all times to make magic happen
Mascot costume has limited visibility and mobility
You must be local to Houston, Texas
Must have weekend availability
You must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States
