We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst and Scrum Master to support various projects and business analysis initiatives. This role involves collaborating with business users to gather and document current ( "As-Is ") and future ( "To-Be ") processes and requirements, as well as identifying application dependencies and providing recommendations for improvements. You will work closely with the Project Manager to support and enhance project management activities as needed.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop process flows and comprehensive written documentation.
- Collaborate with the team, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure the accuracy and completeness of business analysis documentation.
- Analyze and document current application dependencies and use cases.
- Conduct requirements elicitation and documentation, and manage change requests by creating tickets to facilitate necessary updates.
- Work collaboratively as part of the Scrum Team to meet deadlines and complete tasks efficiently.
- Track project tasks through to completion.
- Develop and update training materials and support the team in understanding requirements as necessary.
- Work closely with external Project Managers to ensure project success.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction by understanding business functions and processes, documenting and updating requirements based on client feedback, and acting as a liaison between clients and project teams.
- Coordinate and lead project teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Prepare status reports for management using Microsoft Office applications.
- Organize Sprint Planning meetings, collaborating with the Product Owner and Core Team to identify and prioritize user stories for upcoming Sprints.
- Monitor and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure our solutions meet their expectations, while documenting and tracking issues for future efficiency recommendations.
- Conduct Sprint Review meetings to assess achievements from previous Sprints and organize Sprint Retrospectives to foster continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to Scrum principles and facilitate Daily Scrum meetings to promote team coordination and communication.
- Empower and protect the Scrum Team from outside disruptions while assisting the Product Owner in managing the Product Backlog.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in both Agile and Waterfall environments, with a track record of increased responsibilities as a Business Analyst.
- SCRUM Master and/or PMP certification is preferred.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision while effectively managing workload and priorities.
- Experience creating business analysis deliverables, including requirements documents, process diagrams, use cases, traceability matrices, data dictionaries, and business rules.
- A dynamic and passionate individual with a strong drive for business analysis and a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Detail-oriented with proven capabilities in leading tasks to completion.
- Highly skilled in analyzing data and processes, with an emphasis on documentation best practices and risk management.
- Excellent skills in requirements gathering, with experience in process design and documentation.
- Proficient in tools like Visio or similar process mapping software.
- Understanding the significance of well-planned rollouts, including documentation, user training, and post-deployment support.
- Strong financial management skills and experience working on cross-functional teams in matrix environments.
- Eager to learn, resourceful, and willing to share knowledge with others.
