We are looking for a Lead Test Automation Engineer. As the Lead Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing frameworks that ensure the quality and reliability of our IoT-connected instruments and web applications. This role involves leading a team, collaborating across various functions, and establishing best practices in test automation to support our advanced testing solutions.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the execution of automated tests, monitor results, and communicate findings to stakeholders for ongoing enhancement of processes.
- Design and create automated test scripts for regression, performance, functional, and security testing across web applications and IoT devices.
- Build and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using tools like Cypress, JMeter, Postman, and Selenium and integrate them with CI / CD pipelines.
- Guide and mentor a team of automation engineers, conduct code reviews, and help evolve test scripts to adapt to changing needs.
- Develop and implement automation strategies for IoT web applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with product requirements.
- Actively participate in knowledge-sharing activities through both informal and formal training sessions and demos.
- Partner with product, software, and hardware teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage for software and IoT systems.
- Commit to continuous technical development.
- Keep abreast of the latest tools, trends, and methodologies to enhance test automation efficiency.
- Engage in team meetings and ceremonies, collaborating with colleagues across different sites to offer input and feedback while driving identified improvements.
