We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The Logistics Coordinator will be pivotal in managing import and export orders and ensuring the efficient coordination of shipments. This role entails overseeing the timely processing of orders and data management, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, aimed at enhancing workflows, reducing costs, and fulfilling customer expectations.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and coordinate the prompt transportation of customer orders.
- Arrange transportation with appropriate carriers, routes, and schedules.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of FDA and USDA regulations applicable to our products.
- Monitor the status of inbound containers, including :
- Clearance requirements and liaising with the FDA and US Customs.
- IFS (Import Filing System) submissions.
- Ensuring documentation compliance.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act) requirements and guidelines.
- Communicate daily with external customs brokers.
- Collaborate with outside transportation providers to organize shipments from the warehouse.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
