We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our team, reporting directly to the Chief Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, managing, and implementing engineering solutions that optimize production processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure high product quality. You will work to improve the overall manufacturing process by identifying areas for enhancement and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze manufacturing systems and equipment to find opportunities for optimization, cost savings, and quality improvements.
- Continuously assess ongoing projects while managing new initiatives, with a focus on identifying improvement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure compliance of processes, equipment, and products with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize strong decision-making and analytical skills to assess production, labor, and material costs while engaging with equipment vendors and researching testing methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvement projects, product introductions, and facility expansions, coordinating timelines, resources, and budgets to meet objectives.
- Design and optimize the planning, execution, and layout of engineering projects to promote efficient production and quality results.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts to enhance manufacturing efficiency and assist in diagnosing and resolving production equipment and process issues.
- Perform other related duties as necessary.
