What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Pharmacy Technician position at Rx3 Compounding Pharmacy?

We currently have an opening for a licensed Pharmacy Technician and looking for a strong partner that will help us continue to grow and provide exceptional service.
Description of Position (Hours: Monday - Friday; 9am - 6pm)
This is a fast paced, customer facing retail pharmacy environment. The selected candidate will assist the pharmacist in filling and dispensing prescriptions, take refill orders via the phone, perform data entry, adjudicate prescription claims, dispense and re-order medication as needed.
Additional Responsibilities/Duties:
- Assist pharmacist in updating patient profile and entering prescription information into the pharmacy computer.
- Answer phones and provide prompt and courteous member service including answering questions at pharmacy window, and directing members to product locations.
- Assist pharmacist in filling prescriptions by bringing stock bottles, counting, pouring, re-stocking, labeling, and pricing prescriptions under direct pharmacist supervision. Prepare third-party insurance claims, to the extent allowable by state law.
- Order, retrieve, tag and stock prescription drugs and supplies.
- Follow security and safety procedures, including securing department by appropriately storing or disposing of confidential documents and by using proper disposal methods for immunization supplies and hazardous waste.
- Assist customers at the counter when clerk isn't present, receive written prescriptions for the pharmacist, and retrieve filled prescriptions.
- Manage register if/when needed, to include receiving payment, making change, processing checks, credit and debit charges..
The selected candidate Must Have:
- A valid State or National Pharmacy Technician License
- A High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years (minimum) of retail pharmacy experience.
- Strong data entry and general computer experience.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
