We are seeking experienced Medical Device Sales professionals for multiple territories, including Charlotte, NC.

Territory Manager

Position Summary

The Territory Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and market share within an assigned geographic area. This role involves building, retaining, and developing new business opportunities, and ensuring the implementation of effective sales strategies. The Territory Manager will cultivate highly satisfied customers and deliver annual sales and revenue goals.

Job Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Work closely with Regional Director/VP of Sales to develop and execute a sales plan for penetrating the target market/assigned territory.
  • Set short-term and long-term sales goals aligned with company objectives.

Customer Relationships Management:

  • Responsible for building, retaining, and nurturing strong relationships with existing and new potential customers involved in the ordering and support of RxFunction products.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by conducting regular in-services and frequent engagement to fully understand their needs, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Effectively educate and demonstrate Rx Function products to existing and potential customers on how to identify appropriate indicated patients and achieve the best possible clinical outcome.

Business Development:

  • Provide timely updates to Regional Director/VP of Sales on ongoing business activities, sales forecast, performance metrics, competitive conditions, and industry trends.
  • Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual sales performance goals are met.
  • Identify, develop and execute plans to penetrate new markets and increase market share.
  • Maintain effective internal and external business relationships; ensure key contacts are maintained throughout the sales process and post-sale activities.
  • Track and report on trends to make informed decisions.
  • Ensure efficient allocation of resources and time to maximize return on investment.

Team Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Collaborate with all departments to ensure alignment and support for company sales initiatives.
  • Provide guidance, best practices, training, and support to all field team members.
  • Foster a positive team environment and reinforce a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Administrative:

  • Complete required training, certifications, expense reports, and sales documentation and reporting as required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements, including HIPAA.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience with proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets including year over year revenue growth, new and existing account growth and penetration.
  • Experience in medical device sales or B2B sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new customers and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • High level of professional integrity with a strong work ethic focused on exceeding targets.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal direction and/or part of a team.
  • Organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities with detailed and prompt follow-through.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time via car and plane.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Four-year undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Comfortable working directly with patients and patient advocacy groups.
