Manufacturing Plant Manager

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Plant Manager to oversee our production facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient operations, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a strong leader who can manage a diverse team and implement effective strategies to enhance productivity and operational excellence.

Duties

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production goals are met while maintaining quality standards.
• Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Manage production planning and scheduling to optimize resource utilization.
• Collaborate with supply chain management to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
• Lead and mentor a team of supervisors and operators, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the manufacturing facility.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Proficiency in Epicor or similar ERP systems for managing production processes.
• Experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of supply chain management principles and practices.
• Proven track record in production management, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Pay: $82,074.70 - $98,842.65 per year
