Overview
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Software Engineering, the Software Verification and Validation Intern is responsible for contributing to the testing and documentation of RxSight products and other software tools. Primary duties include rigorous testing software for the Light Delivery Device (LDD) and other software tools in compliance with regulatory and industry standards. In addition, the engineer will be responsible for updating and creating documentation that aids in the software testing and development processes.

Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Ensure that software products meet quality and safety standards
- Develop and execute test protocols, scripts, plans, and procedures (manual and automated).
- Analyze test results and provide detailed feedback to the development team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software issues.
- Participate in design and code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Modify and maintain test plans, reports, and other relevant documentation.
- Gain and apply familiarity with IEC 62304 and other relevant regulatory standards.
- Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- Capable of software testability, robustness, and performance, or a demonstration of the ability to quickly learn any missing elements.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Training to be completed per the training plan for this position as maintained in the document control system
- The training requirements on TRN-10007 Insider Trading Policy, TRN-10008 Global Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy, and TRN-10009 Code of Business Conducts and Ethics must be diligently completed within 30 days from the hiring date and on an annual basis.
