Construction Superintendent
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Superintendent licensed in both California and Nevada to oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and to high-quality standards, while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
The Superintendent will play an important part in constructing the up-and-coming neighborhoods in the region. Many of Ryan Construction’s previous projects feature multi-million-dollar builds including the Boulders at Mountainside in Northstar, Shaffer’s Mill Town Homes in Truckee and the Northstar Iron Horse building.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage and coordinate all on-site activities for construction projects.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to design specifications.
- Supervise subcontractors, laborers, and other construction personnel.
- Enforce compliance with state (CA and NV) construction regulations, building codes, and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure proper use of safety equipment on-site.
- Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring alignment with milestones and deadlines.
- Oversee quality assurance for all construction phases, ensuring adherence to plans and specifications.
- Perform routine site inspections and promptly address deficiencies.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and other project documentation.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years in construction management or superintendent roles
- Attention to detail (required)
- Computer skills - including Word, Excel and PowerPoint (required)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
- Previous experience with Procore Construction Software
- Ability to professionally communicate both verbally and in writing
- Bilingual – English and Spanish (preferred)
