Job Title: Aftermarket Automotive Sales Representative
Base Salary: $50K-$70K Quarterly Commission ($80k total comp)
Compensation: Annual Profit Sharing
Job Summary:
An aftermarket automotive sales background and knowledge of high-performance domestic vehicles are required for this role. The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth in a fast-paced environment by selling and promoting aftermarket automotive parts. This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with distributors, retailers, and other business partners while providing exceptional customer service and achieving sales targets. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential customers, including distributors, retailers, and automotive repair shops.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and revenue for aftermarket products.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals and meet sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to foster long-term partnerships.
- Provide ongoing customer support, including product training and technical assistance.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to promote new and existing products.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product development.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in aftermarket automotive products.
- Train customers and internal teams on product specifications, installation procedures, and best practices.
- Work closely with manufacturing, product development, and marketing teams to align sales strategies.
- Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely product delivery.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent sales industry experience.
- Relevant certifications or technical training in automotive parts or sales required.
- Proven experience in full-cycle sales, preferably within the automotive aftermarket or manufacturing industry.
- Experience managing multimillion-dollar accounts.
- Proficiency in CRM software, sales tracking tools, and Microsoft 365.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze market data and trends to inform sales strategies.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
