The Digital Communications Coordinator develops and distributes content that amplifies Ryan Fireprotection’s brand and culture across a multitude of communication channels. This role is responsible for writing and delivering clear, consistent messaging for employees, customers, vendors, and press – ensuring every communication reflects who we are as a company. They oversee all outward-facing platforms, including the company website, social media accounts, and paid digital advertising, while also supporting internal communications like newsletters and employee announcements. Utilizing Google Analytics, SEO reports, and META data, this role is responsible for ensuring that our internal and external communications are effective and performing well. Key Responsibilities
- Content & Campaign Execution
- Manage all corporate social media accounts as an administrator.
- Plan, design, and schedule social‑media campaigns—balancing core messaging with timely holiday or culture posts.
- Buildout and maintain the Hootsuite management platform for post review, approval, and scheduling.
- Develop a content calendar and ongoing library of fresh, fun content for posts, reels, stories, etc.
- Email & Internal Communications
- Produce and distribute the monthly employee newsletter, including new‑hire and promotion spotlights plus assigned feature pages.
- Manage audience lists within Mailchimp and build Microsoft RSVP forms for internal and external audiences.
- Work with other departments to maintain updated lists of employees, customers, vendors, etc. monthly.
- Events & Department Support
- Coordinate Lunch‑n‑Learn webinars with presenting departments: manage guest lists, send invites, order lunches, host in-person lunches, moderate virtual sessions, and archive recordings.
- Help to support team members and other departments with corporate initiatives, events, and employee recognition programs as needed.
- Paid & Organic Promotion
- Develop and launch META and Google Ads for recruitment, culture spotlights, and lead generation; track spend against budget.
- Develop, launch, and manage our new Social Advocacy Portal within Hootsuite to build a network of employees who act as social ambassadors.
- Supply Social Advocates with shareable content and provide an incentive program to increase participation and expand reach.
- Website & Management
- Manage basic website content / photo updates to ensure SEO.
- Ability to work with freelance web support for complex technical updates or large-scale web enhancements.
- Analytics & Reporting
- Pull monthly social‑media and Hootsuite performance reports; summarize insights for leadership.
- Review Google Analytics and META ad metrics to recommend optimizations that drive traffic, leads, and targeted regional visibility for both talent acquisition and fire protection services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
- Familiar with social media platforms and their different use cases.
- Base proficiency or willingness to learn: Word Press, Divy, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, Canva, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and Google Analytics.
- Strong copy‑writing, graphic‑design, and project‑management skills.
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
Working Conditions
- Primarily office‑based with flexibility for remote work as needed.
- Occasional after‑hours support for social posts or virtual events.
- Some travel for industry events or on‑site content capture.
