As a Turf/Pest Route Manager, you'll have the opportunity to work outdoors, apply turf treatments and pest control applications, and provide exceptional customer service.

What does a Turf Route Manager do?
- Deliver excellent account management and customer service
- Manage a route consisting of 400-500 customers
- Handle turf bid requests, fertilization applications, aerating, seeding, pest applications and service calls for customer properties
- Diagnose and provide specific lawn care and pest control solutions for individual customer properties
- Collaborate effectively in a team environment and working efficiently independently
- Demonstrate knowledge of turf grass practices and other RYAN services
Our training program will help you build your skillset to be successful in this position.
Requirements
- Prefer 2 years of experience in the green or agricultural industry
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in agronomy, turf grass, or agricultural sciences is a plus
- Possession of a valid Driver's License
- Ability to obtain DOT certification
- Capability to obtain and maintain a state-issued pesticide applicator license for turf/pest within 3 months
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to to work in all weather conditions
- Willingness to learn new skills and work in other departments to help the company achieve its goals.
