Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year.

About the Job

Ryan, LLC is seeking a skilled Tax Incentives Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our tax department, you will work closely with clients to identify and optimize severance tax incentives, reducing overall tax liabilities.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze state severance tax issues, communicating findings to management
• Gather data, perform detailed calculations, and prepare refund claims using Microsoft Access and Excel
• Develop and implement proposal and prospect development initiatives, utilizing company research and data analysis skills
• Collaborate with clients and external contacts at Regulatory and Taxing Authorities to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or related field
• 9 hours of accounting coursework or substitute technical courses with a 3.0 GPA or higher, and a Major GPA of 3.25 or higher
• Zero to two years audit or tax-related experience
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research
