Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Associate Attorney at Ryan Ryan Deluca LLP located in Bridgeport, CT. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting research, negotiating settlements, and handling civil litigation cases in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Requirements
- Insurance Defense Litigation: 2 years
- Connecticut Litigation: 2 years
- Clerkship experience a plus
- Connecticut - required
- New York - preferred
- Manage day-to-day case activities
- Research legal issues and develop litigation strategies
- Represent clients in court and conduct/defend depositions
- Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
- Advise clients on legal strategy
- Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
- Comply with all legal standards and regulations
- Prepare consistent reporting for clients detailing significant case developments
- Experience in Civil Litigation
- Strong research abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
