Job Summary:
RYCO Landscape Supply, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented leader to join our team in Plymouth! The ideal candidate for Sales Manager will have a strong background in management, material sales and leading teams.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations at the Plymouth Landscape Supply location.
- Provide top-notch customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Manage accurate accounting and end-of-day procedures.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Train and mentor sales staff to improve performance and product knowledge.
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Collaborate with management to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in sales management, preferably in the landscaping or construction industry.
- Knowledge of hardscapes (e.g., patios, retaining walls) is essential.
- Experience with pavers is highly preferred.
- Ability to safely operate machinery as needed.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and basic accounting software.
- Ability to travel occasionally to our Plymouth location as needed.
- Valid driver's license.
