Job Title: Dedicated SOLO Class A CDL Driver
We are seeking a reliable and experienced solo class A CDL driver to join our team at Ryder in Bowling Green, KY.
Compensation and Benefits
- Paid weekly with a guaranteed minimum of $1205 per week
- Solo miles pay: $0.47 per mile with a minimum of 2500 miles per week
- Solo stops pay: $12.00 per stop with a minimum of 5 stops per week
- Drop and hook pay: $6.00 per drop/hook
- Sign on bonus: $1000 at 30 days and $1000 at 90 days
- Shutdown bonus: $2000 in two installments
- Safety bonus: $250 per quarter if applicable
Requirements
- Minimum age: 21 years old
- Pass a Ryder drug test
- Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
- Must have class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
- 9 months experience within the past 3 years
- 2 years experience within the last 5 years
- 5 years experience within the last 10 years
Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
- Maintaining accurate records and logs
- Loading/unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
- Performing other duties as assigned
