At Ryder, we are immediately hiring dedicated solo Class A CDL drivers. If you're looking for a rewarding driving career, we want you on our team!
Weekly Pay : Ryder drivers receive a guaranteed pay of $1360 per week.
Pay Structure : Earn $0.54 per mile (approx. 2500 miles per week) and $11.00 per stop (5-10 stops per week).
Additional Earnings : Earn $6.00 for each drop / hook.
Flexible Schedule : Work Monday-Friday with some Saturdays. Start times are flexible for both AM and PM shifts.
Sign-On Bonus : Receive $1000 after 30 days and another $1000 after 90 days.
Shutdown Bonus : Get $2000 in two installments during your first year.
Safety Bonus : You can earn up to $250 per quarter based on performance.
Your Routes : Deliver solo in regions including IN, IL, AR, MO, KY, and TN. Enjoy local routes with daily home time.
Equipment : Drive a day cab tractor (manual and automatic available) with a 53' dry van trailer featuring swing doors.
Type of Freight : No-touch freight primarily consisting of auto parts.
Requirements : Strong backing skills are essential.

Driver Requirements :
Must be at least 21 years old.
Pass a Ryder drug test.
Pass a background check, motor vehicle check, and drug / alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
Pass a DOT physical and road test.
Possess appropriate CDL and endorsements.
Must have verifiable Class A experience : 9 months within the past 3 years, 2 years within the last 5 years, or 5 years within the last 10 years.
Able to follow written and oral instructions, and interpret applicable laws and regulations.
Your Responsibilities :
Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.
Identify and mitigate safety hazards.
Maintain accurate records and logs.
Assist in loading / unloading freight as necessary.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
