- Relish a guaranteed weekly income of $1360
- Earn up to $0.54 per mile on solo miles, with a minimum guarantee of 2500 miles per week
- Boost earnings through stop pay, earning up to $11.00 per stop for 5-10 stops per week
- Participate in drop and hook pay, earning up to $6.00 per drop/hook
- Navigate a Monday-Friday schedule, with some Saturdays
- Adapt to both AM and PM shifts
- Eligible for a sign-on bonus, receiving $1000 at 30 days and $1000 at 90 days
- Take part in a shutdown bonus, earning up to $2000 in two installments within the first year
- Participate in a safety bonus, earning up to $250 per quarter (if applicable)
- Deliver freight to areas including IN, IL, AR, MO, KY, TN
- Navigate local home daily routes
- Operate day cab tractors, with manual and automatic options available
- Haul dry van 53' trailers with swing doors
- Transport no-touch auto parts freight
- Demonstrate strong backing skills
- Ryder provides company-paid scale bypass services

Requirements:
- Meet the minimum age requirement of 21 years
- Pass a Ryder drug test
- Clear a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including verification of previous employers' drug and alcohol records for the past three years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Complete a Ryder road test
- Hold a valid CDL and relevant endorsements for the position
- possess verifiable Class A experience in tractor-trailers or comparable vehicles: 9 months within the last three years, 2 years within the last five years, or 5 years within the last ten years
- Follow written and/or oral instructions accurately
- Read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures effectively
Responsibilities:
- Comply with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency standards
- Identify and mitigate safety hazards
- Maintain accurate records and logs
- Loading/unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading process if required by customers
