Truck Driver Solo Class A CDL

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Ryder in Salem, OR.

  • Hourly pay: $29.51 per hour for 40-50 hours of work per week

• Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules

  • Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards

  • Maintain accurate records and logs

  • Loading and unloading freight as required by the customer

  • Perform other duties as assigned

• Requirements:

  • Minimum 21 years of age

  • Pass a Ryder drug test

  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

  • Pass a DOT physical

  • Pass a Ryder road test

  • Provide a valid Class A CDL and endorsements for the position

  • Have verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle with the following requirements:

    • 9 months of experience within the past 3 years

    • 2 years of experience within the last 5 years

    • 5 years of experience within the last 10 years

  Language: English

  Start Time: 2:00 AM - 6:00 AM, Monday - Friday

  Equipment: Trailer-mounted forklift, Day cab, 42' and 48' flatbed trailers

  Freight: Touch-strapping and unstrapping

  Restrictions: Auto restriction OK, Flatbed experience preferred

Salary : $30 - $1,400
