Class A CDL Driver Job Summary
Ryder Salem OR is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Class A CDL truck driver to join our team as a solo long haul driver. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations throughout the country.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.
- Maintaining accurate records and logs, including hours of service and fuel consumption.
- Loading and unloading freight, as well as securing cargo for transport.
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL and required endorsements.
- 9 months of verifiable experience in a tractor trailer within the past 3 years, or equivalent experience within the last 5 or 10 years.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
