Job Title : SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver
Location : Sumner, WA
We are seeking a qualified and experienced truck driver to join our team in Sumner, WA. As a solo class A CDL truck driver with Ryder, you will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently to our customers.
Benefits :
Competitive Pay : Earn from $1600 or more per week
Hourly Pay : $31.00 Per Hour
Hours Per Week : 45 hours per week
Per Diem Pay : $35 per night Tax Free with up to 2 nights per week
Paid Training : We will provide comprehensive training on all equipment needed to be successful
Schedule : Monday – Friday, 4 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 AM Dispatch (8-12 hours per day)
Deliveries : SOLO to WA, OR & ID, Regional - up to 2 nights per week
Equipment : Day Cabs and Sleepers, Curtain side 53'
Requirements :
Age : Minimum 21 years of age
Certifications : Pass a Ryder Drug Test, Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years, Pass a DOT physical, Pass a Ryder road test, Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
Experience : Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle : 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
Skills : Ability to follow written and / or oral instructions, Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and / or procedures
Responsibilities :
Compliance : Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and / or state laws, regulations, and / or agency rules, standards and guidelines
Safety : Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
Loading / Unloading : Loading / Unloading freight or assisting in the loading / unloading of freight if required by customer
