About Us: Ryder works with a leading provider of delicious donuts and baked goods. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Merchandiser.

Job Description: As an Entry Level Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products are well-presented and available to customers. You will work closely with store managers and other team members to maintain product displays, manage inventory, and support promotional activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stock and organize product displays to ensure they are visually appealing and fully stocked.
• Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or discrepancies.
• Assist with setting up promotional displays and signage.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and assisting customers as needed.
• Collaborate with store managers and other team members to achieve sales goals.
• Drive Company owed vehicle to each Location.

Qualifications:

• No Experience Required
• Valid Driver's License
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills for inventory management.
• Ability to lift and move products as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Minimum of 9 months of verifiable driving experience
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Must have verifiable driving experience in like equipment:
  • 9 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR 
  • 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years' experience within the last 10 years 
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
• Important Note:  Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.

Responsibilities

• This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle within and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.
• Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
• Maintaining accurate records Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Other tasks as assigned
