As a member of the Ryder Ecommerce IT Network Group, you are responsible for maintaining a reliable, secure and efficient data communications network. The ideal candidate will be able to deploy, configure, maintain, and monitor all active network equipment to ensure a stable, reliable network operation.
Responsibilities -
- Ensure network security and connectivity
- Design, implement, and manage Cisco WAN / LAN network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.
- Perform network configuration and troubleshooting to resolve complex network issues and ensure smooth operation.
- Maintain servers and associated hardware, applications, services, and settings
- Provide Tier 2 / 3 support for escalated network and system issues.
- secure critical IT systems, including servers, networks, and storage solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements.
- Monitor network performance and capacity (availability, utilization, throughput, latency) to identify and address potential bottlenecks or issues proactively.
- Configure Fortinet Firewalls
- Ensure critical updates are tested and deployed in a timely manner
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members and assist with their professional development.
- Willingness to continue to learn and share knowledge
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to network emergencies or incidents promptly.
- Manage user remote access, VPN configurations
- Document processes, network configurations, and troubleshooting steps for systems and applications.
- Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades.
- Develop, define and monitor network / security policies for the use of network resources
- Work closely with customers, vendors and other departments, including operations, engineering, and management
- Monitor Helpdesk queues throughout the day to ensure SLAs are met
- Perform other duties as assigned

Compensation Information :
The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data / ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc.
Compensation ranges for the position are below :
Pay Type :
Salaried
Minimum Pay Range : 95,000.00
Maximum Pay Range : 105,000.00
The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and / or long-term incentive plan based on the level and / or type.
