Position Description
Immediate opening for a Dedicated Regional Class A CDL Truck Driver in Springfield, OR and we want the right Driver to join us at Ryder.

- Average $1500 or more per week
- Average Work Week 35 - 60 Hours
- Miles Pay: $0.65 per Mile with 1600 Miles Per Week All Miles Paid
- Stops Pay: $24.00 per Stop with 12 Stops per Week
- Deliver to: OR, WA, ID and MT
- Per Diem Pay: $28.00 per night 2 - 3 nights per Week
- $2000 Sign-on Bonus to be paid out within 90 days
- Paid Training
- Paid Time Off Starts DAY ONE - 80 hours accrued in 1st year

- Freight: Touch - Hardware Retail Deliveries
Ryder Drivers Service the Route, not the Truck. All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician
- Trailer Type: 24', 31', 40', 48' and 53' Dry Van
- New Sleeper Tractors with Refrigerators
- Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
- Equipment: Manual Pallet Jack
- Endorsements: Hazmat - Within 90 Days of Hire
- We Reimburse Cost to Obtain Endorsements and Provide Training

Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass a Ryder Drug Test
- Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
- Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
- 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
- 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
- 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
Important Note: Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
- Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
- Performs other duties as assigned
