Rye Country Day School is seeking a Middle School Language Arts Teacher beginning in August 2025. Rye Country Day School is a coeducational, Prek-12, college preparatory school located in Westchester County, New York dedicated to providing students with an excellent education using both traditional and innovative approaches. Specific responsibilities of the position include :
- Teach four sections of Middle School Language Arts
- Grade student work and write reports as required
- Serve as a Middle School advisor and participate in all school, division, and departmental meetings as well as field trips, special activities, and rotational duties
- Maintain contact with advisees, deans, and parents as necessary
- Be committed to student learning, personal growth, and seek out and participate in professional growth opportunities embracing a growth mindset
