Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Showroom Sales Associate/Design Consultant. As the face of RMI Surfaces, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with their material selection process, providing expert advice, and ensuring an unparalleled showroom experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome clients to the showroom, establishing rapport and understanding their needs.
- Guide clients through our selection of materials, offering insights and recommendations tailored to their project requirements.
- Provide in-depth product knowledge, including material characteristics, durability, and maintenance.
- Assist clients in making informed decisions by presenting samples, discussing design options, and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Collaborate closely with clients, designers, and contractors to facilitate seamless project coordination.
- Maintain showroom appearance and organization, ensuring all samples are properly displayed and readily accessible.
- Available to work on Saturday.
- Work alone in the showroom during certain shifts.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or interior design preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for helping clients achieve their vision.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design aesthetics.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and some alone shifts in the showroom.
