As an FP&A Intern at Ryerson, you will be responsible for you are responsible for learning the way that Ryerson completes daily financial transactions in hopes you will want to come back as a full-time employee if afforded the opportunity.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize company financials, including quarterly financial statements as well as investment, commercial, and operational strategies
- Conduct market research on company peers, industry dynamics, and macroeconomic trends
- Develop presentation materials for investor presentations and quarterly earnings
- Collaborate on Ad-Hoc analysis with FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, Risk, and M&A teams
- Complete strategic projects assigned by senior leadership

- All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice
- Progressive matriculation towards a bachelor’s degree
- Prior work or internship experience in finance, consulting, operations, marketing, manufacturing, or engineering is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with demonstrated analytical and organizational abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to effectively communicate ideas and work collaboratively with others
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Teams, and Outlook)
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a rapidly changing environment
