Fay Industries, part of Ryerson family companies, has an opportunity an Operations Manager position. As an Operations Manager you are responsible for managing operations in our metal processing and distribution center that supports the surrounding markets. Primary responsibility will be the overall management of the processing center to ensure operational effectiveness. Accordingly, s/he will manage the input, throughput and output activities to meet the internal and external customer requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Management and motivation of supervisors and warehouse staff, along with demonstrate a high level of service internally and externally
- Promote and demonstrate a safe work environment (compliant with EPA/OSHA regulations)
- Drive process excellence in every step of the production process driving continuous improvement to all site metrics (Safety, Customer Satisfaction, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Cost and People)
- Customer satisfaction management of Quality with a 98% on-time delivery requirement
- Management of production metrics, establishing best practices and benchmarking; and production uptime for maximum equipment utilization
- Meet or exceed the monthly Revenue, EBITDA, and OPEX goals
- Establish LEAN manufacturing principles and drive continuous improvement to serve our customers on time, every time

Position Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree preferred

- Minimum 5 years of experience in a management level role in an operations environment
- Data analysis skills (Excel a must)
- Knowledge of SAP preferred
- Six Sigma black belt preferred or similar experience in continuous improvement
- Knowledge of employment laws and government regulations
- Ability to train and mentor supervisors
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities and multiple tasks
Experience Required: 5 - 7 Years
Education Required: Bachelors Degree Preferred
