As a Production Support team member, you will play a key role in the organization’s efficient operation ensuring that goals are met surrounding safety, productivity, quality, and on-time delivery providing a great customer experience.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Receives, inspects and stocks inbound raw materials for production
- Assembles customer orders and packages to specifications as required
- Performs data entry for processed fulfilled orders
- Loads completed order products onto trucks for delivery
- Completes bill of ladings for outbound shipments
- Operates Forklifts, Electric Overhead Cranes and Warehouse Tractor
- Operates Rail Car Mover and moves and unloads rail cars
- Operates shear for sample testing
- Assembles, pallets, and skids per order requirements
- Maintains housekeeping in the work area
- All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice
- 3 years or more experience in warehouse setting preferred
- Able to read a tape measure down to a 1/16th of an inch
- Steel industry background preferred
- Overhead crane experience preferred
- Experience loading & unloading steel products preferred
- Experience with mobile equipment preferred
- Successful pass a skills-based assessment – evaluates your reading, math, inspections & measurement, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
