We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with an exceptional first impression of the restaurant.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Utilize Toast POS system to take pick up orders.
- Answer phone calls promptly, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while assisting guests with inquiries or reservations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist in managing guest flow during peak hours, ensuring that all guests receive prompt service.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism, aiming for resolution that enhances guest relations.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, hotel, or restaurant settings is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest services and satisfaction.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both guests and team members in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Toast POS system and OpenTable reservation system is a plus but can be learned on the job.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
