Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team. The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing a team of employees, and ensuring efficient and safe operations. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate with team members.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and monitoring work activities
- Train and mentor employees on proper procedures and safety protocols
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency
- Resolve customer issues or complaints in a timely manner
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is properly maintained
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize operations and achieve company goals
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus
- Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in operations or logistics
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, dump trucks, flatbeds, and other commercial vehicles
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
