Job Overview:
This position analyzes codes, tests and documents moderately complex applications programs from detailed specifications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting Customer Generation Programs (CGP) using data visualization skills, solution building, development, and oversight of CGP dashboards
- Consult with clients and leadership to drive strategic data-informed decisions by creating intuitive dashboards, on-demand data views, and translating the data into actionable intelligence
- Responsible but not limited to devising accurate steps to enhance the effectiveness of Renewal Energy Programs and Incentives and make recommendation based on critical performance data analysis
- Beyond data-related tasks, this role is vital to the success of regulatory compliance programs, providing key thought to Interconnection and Incentives programs members to provide data-driven recommendations
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in an analytical position utilizing database programs and spreadsheet software
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Office, PowerPoint & Word)
- 5 years of experience using MS platform (includes Power BI) and applications
- Certification of MS expertise
- Experience with SAP - preference is customer and billing modules
- Experience in data warehousing and extraction tools, technical data concepts, design, data engineering, and statistical forecasts
- Database development experience using BOBJ = Business Objects, Alteryx, Snowflake (internal only - SAS is a backend tools used to get info from SAP) , SAP, and/or SAS Enterprise Guide
- Must be a team player who actively contributes to meetings and discussions and brings creative/innovative ideas for process improvements
- Demonstrated experience in gathering, documenting, analyzing and drawing conclusions on data and information
- Demonstrated experience in performing a variety of functions and handling programs, projects, and assignments
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of 2 (preferred) programming languages, report production, and database structure
- Demonstrated working knowledge of software and hardware tools supporting primary system operations
- Demonstrated knowledge of systems development, hardware/software and project methodology preferred
