Maintenance Multi-Craft Technician

In 1998 we invested in a new facility, five times the size of the first one, with the goal of acquiring more machinery and more technology in order to improve the quality and efficiency of the RYMCO product line.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Multi-Craft Technician will participate in all electrical/mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance activities within the facility. Manufacturing experience required.

Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to determine the root cause of problems.
- Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty components or parts.
- Weld and fabricate metal structures as needed.
- Utilize a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, maintenance history, and inventory.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other team members to analyze equipment performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, diagrams, and manuals to assist in troubleshooting and repair processes.
- Greenfield experience - Facility startup, machine installation a plus.
- Strong multi-skilled talent to include: Electrical, PLC troubleshooting or programming, robotics maintenance, pneumatics.
- Test and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment or systems.
- Monitors and enforces safety requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; 4 - 6 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or a related field; Electrical industry experience a plus; 3 – 5 years prior experience in a similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
- Proficient in welding techniques.
- Experience working with low voltage electrical systems is preferred.
- Field service experience is a plus.
- Technical sales experience is a plus.
- Ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of high voltage systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Manufacturing experience required.
