Job Summary : As RYSEs Assistant Buyer, you will have the opportunity to support RYSEs operations through skillful selection and procurement of materials, products, packaging, and other goods crucial for sustaining optimal inventory levels.
Responsibilities :
Prepare and execute POs ensuring all materials are purchased on time, to specification, and accurately pricedTrack and monitor order(s) status to ensure timely delivery of goodsNurture and improve relationships with vendors, suppliers, forwarders, and other operational partners to maintain good standingFacilitate supplier / vendor communications with internal teams (Operations, Sales, Finance, etc)Collaborate with senior buyers and Leadership in developing purchasing strategies to meet company objectivesParticipate in vendor meetings and product evaluationsEducation and Requirements :
1-2 years of experience in an assistant buyer, purchasing agent, or a related roleHigh school diploma or equivalent (e.g. GED)Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, etc.Experience with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)Strong communication skills (written, oral)Able to work independently with a self-starting approach while also contributing effectively to a team environmentAble to work at a desk / on a computer for up to 8 hours a dayStandout Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related fieldExperience purchasing in the food & beverage, CPG, or beverage manufacturing industriesPersonally health passionateWhat we offer :
