What We Need:
- Experience: 3 years in water/fire mitigation and mold remediation.
- Certifications: WRT Certification (required). other IICRC Certifications
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead a team and manage projects.
- Physical Ability: Lift and manipulate heavy objects up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces.
- Driver's License: Valid with 3 years of driving experience.
- Background Check: Clean background check back to age 18.
- Availability: Willingness to work weekends and night hours as needed.
Overall Duties:
- Lead emergency response for water, fire/smoke, and mold remediation.
- Perform water extraction, drying time completion, demolition, facilitate test materials, deodorization, pack-outs/packback, board-ups, and structure securing services.
- Communicate daily with mitagation team and upper management on project status.
- Document work through photos, notes, scopes, and MICA.
- Start new losses and relay information to the Project Corrdinator and leadership and other support team members.
- Participate in on-call rotation.
- Maintain and manage fleet vehicles, equipment, and buildings.
- Provide direction and work alongside other Mitigation Technicians and helper positions.
- Communicate with clients and adjusters, collecting field-related documentation.
- Manage company supplies and maintain equipment.
- Ensure project success, including job site cleanliness and presentation.
Detailed Job Accountabilities:
- Document work in Mica through photos, job update notes, and daily logs.
- Drive company vehicles safely and report disturbances.
- Communicate with insurance adjusters and program representatives.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and schedule maintenance services.
- Respond to homeowner/property manager questions
- Safely disassemble and store hardware from demolition.
- Complete special assignments as requested by upper management and Rytech franchise organization.
- Participate in emergency services and continuous improvement of the department and company.
- Engage in social events, goal setting, and team meetings at Rytech Restoration of the Upstate.
Additional Overall Duties for Mitigation Project Manager:
- Lead Emergency Response:
- Coordinate and lead emergency response efforts for water, fire/smoke, and mold remediation projects.
- Ensure timely mobilization of resources and personnel to affected sites.
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Oversee all phases of mitigation projects from initial assessment to final completion.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion.
- Team Leadership:
- Provide direction and support to mitigation technicians and other team members.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss project status, challenges, and solutions.
- Client Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular updates to clients on project status and address any concerns or questions.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering quality service and maintaining open communication.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Document all work performed through detailed notes, photos, and job update logs.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive project reports to clients and insurance adjusters.
- Utilize industry software (e.g., MICA) for accurate and efficient documentation.
- Quality Control:
- Conduct thorough inspections of job sites to ensure compliance with industry standards and company protocols.
- Identify and address any issues or deficiencies in the mitigation process.
- Ensure job site cleanliness and proper presentation.
- Equipment and Resource Management:
- Maintain and manage company supplies, equipment, and vehicles.
- Schedule and oversee maintenance and repairs of equipment and vehicles.
- Ensure proper inventory levels and timely procurement of necessary supplies.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Conduct safety training sessions for team members.
- Address any safety concerns or incidents promptly and effectively.
- On-Call Rotation:
- Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency response, including weekends and night hours.
- Ensure readiness to respond to emergencies at any time.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry best practices.
- Participate in company initiatives aimed at improving service quality and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the department and company.
Hours:
- Typical shift: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday.
- Must contribute to the on-call rotation for weekdays and weekends.
IICRC Certifications:
