What You’ll Do
As a Field Claims Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations and strategic oversight of field adjusters, ensuring seamless execution of claim assignments and optimal adjuster performance.
Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Manage and oversee a team of W2 Field Adjusters, ensuring claim assignments are handled with quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
✔️ Dispatch claims assignments, track progress, and follow up to ensure timely completion.
✔️ Monitor adjuster performance using data-driven reporting, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
✔️ Develop and execute action plans to enhance adjuster productivity, service timelines, and overall effectiveness.
✔️ Lead recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training of new W2 field adjusters.
✔️ Ensure proper staffing levels based on projected claims volume and client demand.
✔️ Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities.
✔️ Optimize financial efficiency, including reviewing adjuster expense reports and managing claims assignment costs.
✔️ Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory guidelines, and client-specific requirements.
✔️ Conduct quality audits of field adjusters to uphold high service standards.
✔️ Participate in client meetings, performance reviews, and strategic planning initiatives.
✔️ Support CAT deployment planning and execution during high-volume events.
✔️ Investigate and resolve escalated claims, payroll, or invoice discrepancies.
Who You Are
To succeed in this role, you must be a proactive and strategic leader with expertise in field adjusting, operations, and people management.
✅ Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
✅ 3 years of experience in IA Field Leadership, Claims Management, or Adjuster Supervision.
✅ In-depth knowledge of insurance claims handling, industry best practices, and policy interpretation.
✅ Strong staffing, performance management, and operations oversight skills.
✅ Ability to analyze data, dashboards, and reports to drive strategic decision-making.
✅ Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills to mentor and guide field adjusters.
✅ Proficiency in Xactimate, Symbility, MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and claims management systems.
✅ General construction knowledge to assist adjusters in damage assessments.
✅ Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities.
✅ Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
✅ Ability to travel as needed to support field adjusters and client needs.
