What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Supervisor position at Ryzen Solutions?
We are looking for a Accounts Receivable Supervisor for a clients of ours located in Livermore, CA. This is a Contract position and 100% onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Supervises, trains and mentors onsite and remote team of AR Analysts. Sets goals and objectives for team members.
- Responsible for ensuring that AR processes are done in an accurate and timely manner consistent with the policies of Shared Services including issuing invoices and credit memos, sending invoices and account statements, posting cash receipts, etc.
- Assists other departments in researching discrepancies, etc. and helps resolve customer inquiries.
- Responsible for contacting customers and working with other departments to collect on past-due balances.
- Reviews and challenges anything that appears unusual.
- Monitor unapplied cash.
- Maintains accurate records and control reports.
- Prepares and/or reviews all monthly accruals in AR.
- At each quarter and year-end, ensures that a proper cutoff is achieved so that the general ledger is properly updated.
- Responsible for the applicable portions of the monthly and quarterly report packages.
- Responsible for the preparation of appropriate documentation as required by J-Sox.
- May recommend improvements to AR processes.
- Perform other related duties as may be reasonably assigned in the course of business.
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor’s degree and 5 plus years of experience.
- Accounting background in Accounts Receivable, account reconciliation, month-end close activities, AP etc.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Windows-based PC software packages including Excel and Word, etc.
- Good interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work independently.
- Experience with Oracle business software and experience with accounting in a manufacturing environment desired.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $34.00 - $40.00 per hour
