As a lab technician, you will be responsible for setting up test equipment and fixtures, performing data collection, and analysis reporting. The test lab is a fast-paced, hands-on work environment where technicians are expected to be self-motivated and able to multitask. Some of the tests may be repetitive in nature, but reliable and consistent data reporting is required to ensure test integrity.
Key Qualifications
- Exceptional attention to detail that can translate into excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Has an understanding of physics and electronics
- Is capable of utilizing creativity, common sense, and technical skills to solve complex problems
- Has experience using common handheld and bench top electronic tools such as multimeters and power supplies
- Ability to handle multiple projects at once and manage multiple deadlines
- Familiarity with MacOS and iOS
Responsibilities
Education
Bachelor of Arts or Science, or two years equivalent experience is preferred; knowledgeable in test engineering fundamentals
