Job SummaryIn this role, you’ll work with several teams at Apple to further utilize anonymous usage data we've collected, whichwill improve our understanding of product usage scenarios. Along with using existing software tools to collect,organize, and visualize customer usage data, you’ll help engineers understand this data to shape hardware designthroughout the development cycle. Furthermore, you’ll bring together people, software, data, and ideas to create aclearer picture of how people use our products. Desired Skills and Traits
- Effectively become familiar with in-house tools to drive acquisition of field usage data
- Familiar with SQL, Splunk searches, database management, visualization software
- Have a working understanding of basic statistical methods useful for understanding customer productusage data
- Works effectively in team environments with people from diverse technical backgrounds (e.g. software,hardware, and data science)
- Willingness to run simple on device experiments to investigate usage data collection
- Ability to work with large datasets
- Takes initiative with teamwork to solve crucial problems
- Communicate effectively with Reliability Engineers regarding their data requests
- Has experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously
- Thrives in a fast-paced and informal environment
